Applying to Trū

We have a limited number of spaces to accept new students. In evaluating applicants, we consider a child’s readiness for a project-based program as well as a family’s demonstrated commitment to the exciting work of transformative learning.

The online application consists of the following steps:

1. Register for an open house if you have not already
2. Fill out the Personal Information Form
3. Submit preliminary application and pay the $75 application fee (due January 15)
4. Apply for adjusted Community Based Tuition if needed (due February 1)
5. Schedule a virtual child school visit and parent interview through our office
6. Send the Teacher Evaluation form link to your child’s current teacher
7. Submit the Parent Reflection form (due February 1)
8. Upload school reports from the current and previous year
9. Upload any special educational or developmental assessments (if applicable)

January 15, 2023 — preliminary application due
(late applications will be considered if space is available and to join a wait list)
February 1, 2023 — application materials due
February 1, 2023 — tuition assistance applications due
February 15, 2023 — tuition assistance documents due
March 16, 2023 — email notifications sent
March 23, 2023 — enrollment contracts due
